Regulatory status

Our regulatory status.

Please read this before you open an account.

Complate Capital Trade is not authorised or regulated by a government financial regulator. It is listed with the Asset Assurance and Insurance Fund (AAIF), a private certification organisation. AAIF is not a government regulator, and its certification does not provide the investor protections of a regulated firm (such as a statutory compensation scheme or ombudsman).

We do not currently hold a licence from any government financial regulator. If that changes, we will update this page.

CFDs carry a high risk of losing money. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and seek independent financial advice if you are unsure.

Company policies

The policies we apply to client accounts.

These are our own company policies, not guarantees given by a third party.

Segregated client funds

Our policy is to hold client money in designated accounts, separate from the company's own funds, and not to use it for our operating expenses or hedging.

Negative balance protection

Our policy is that retail clients do not lose more than the funds in their trading account. If a fast market takes your balance below zero, we reset it to zero.

Complaints handling

Our policy is to investigate every complaint fairly and reply in writing, as set out in our Complaints Procedure.

Data security & encryption

We use TLS encryption on our website, client portal and platform connections, two-step verification and internal access controls.

KYC & AML checks

Our policy is to verify the identity of every client and monitor transactions to help prevent fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing.

Withdrawals to source

Our policy is to return withdrawals to the payment method used to deposit, in the account holder's name, to reduce the risk of third-party fraud.

Pricing & execution

Liquidity and order execution.

How your order travels from MetaTrader 5 to the market.

Read the client agreement

Our prices are aggregated from a panel of [number] liquidity providers, including tier-1 banks and non-bank market makers. Orders are executed on a [STP / market execution] basis: we do not requote, and the price you receive is the best available price at the moment your order reaches our server.

In fast or illiquid markets, the executed price may differ from the price you requested (slippage). Slippage can be positive or negative and is applied symmetrically. Full details are set out in our Order Execution Policy.
